Opposites that are bound......
« on: October 25, 2007, 10:38:43 PM »
I think many opposites are bound:

Black and white are bound by grey as an example.

TomP and Patrick Mucci are another example.

How about Cypress Point and NGLA?

I am sure there are others.

A line from an essay by Tennessee Williams that probably has SOME parallel to the experience of golf and golf course architecture (though I don't know what that is yet):

"Snatching the eternal from the ever fleeting is the great magic trick of human kind".

Challenging for a great player and yet enjoyable for the average golfer.  [Or, see Jim Nugent's post.]
