His little diatribe relating to Scotland's "International" First Minister (Salmondella) should be disregarded due to the misleading information which he supplanted in his earlier post ! >:(

Alfie,
things move fast in the world of Scots Politics. At time of writing our Furst Meenestur wiz Wee Jacky McC. It was he to whom I referred.

(Not that wee Ecky will be any better, of course!!!) ;D

Martin,

How could I have misjudged your politico comments ? :-[ I didn't realise the historical nature of this thread when I posted.

The issue remains the same however, and I hope we (Scots and planning numpties) don't chase these serious investment dollars off to some far and distant golfing lands ?

Once built, erses can be kicked oot the door........ should history and tradition and environmental concerns and big skyscrapers and waterfalls etc fail to meet the satisfaction of loons such as oorsels ;D

BTW. Wee Eck is doing nae bad fur noo. And a far better hacker than Wee Jack.....the opposition leader  ;D :D ;) :) 8)

Not sure about that, Alfie, at least if you are referring to golf.  I teed off in front of Wee Jack a few weeks ago in Portugal, and looking back from time to time, saw some shots which were far from hackdom.

Richard,

Yes, I was referring to their respective golfing charms, and can only say that Eck was a reputed respectable single handicapper ?
But I'm happy for Jack if his game is on the up, as I would be for anyone  ;)
I just hope Salmond wasn't sunning it up in Portugal with the privileged classes, as opposed to getting wealthy Americans to spend their lolly in Scotia  ;)
