I heard of Chick Adams for the first time recently. I know next to nothing about him.
He was apparently quite busy for a while in the SE. C&W credits Chick Adams with a number of courses, mostly during the 50's, 60's and some in the 70's.
C&W's list is odd in the sense that some of the courses they credit to Adams in the ATL area are credited by the clubs to someone else.
OTOH, people at my home course claim that Adams was the orginal designer, but he doesn't show up in C&W for my course.
I'm not sure who is right in either instance.
Anyone know anything about Chick Adams?
As an aside, the more you look into the Dark Ages, the darker it seems to get.
The other thing I'm starting to think is that C&W took on a massive project for which we should all be very, very grateful. But it may be time to update some entries.
