Mayday, your posts from about 3:30 on today have unfortunately proven Wayne to be completely correct about you.

But, hey, I'm not Wayne, I'll cut you a break anytime. But when you start saying stuff like the grass bunker surrounds on the courses down at the shore make the architecture of those other courses no different than Hidden Creek's architecture, well, then, I guess I am Wayne.

I've had a chance to play HC twice over the past few weeks and the course has definitily grown on me quite a bit since I first played there at Pat Mucci's outing a few years ago.

When I first played there I really had a difficult time remembering the holes, as they also seem to blend together because for the most part there are cut out of the trees there.

However, the more you get to play Hidden Creek the more the course reveals itself to you and what is there really is special.

The deception there certainly is plenty, not just with bunker placements but with pin placements as well.  There are a lot of pins that may look like they are in one spot of the green from 150 yards out, but in reality are in a totally different spot once you get on the green.

Positioning on the greens are so important there if you want to score well.

Everyone talks about the 11th hole as a great short par 3, and it is, but I really can't stop thinking about that 4th hole and the Long Redan.
