Boy, the scorecard really illustrates how Jones and MacKenzie designed a bunch of parallel holes that moved in opposite direction, but used the same broad landforms. 1 and 9, 2 and 8 (on TV this weekend, I was reminded how sharply downhill the 2nd is, and thus how uphill 8 is), 15 and 17, and esp. 10 and 18. I've always read that you can't imagine how uphill 18 is unless you go there in person, but you get a sense of it by looking at 10 and how sharply downhill that hole is.
