Sugar Bowl Golf
« on: December 04, 2006, 02:59:03 PM »
Ok I am sick to not be going to the Rose Bowl to hang with the LA guys. I am sick to be booty'd by a 3rd Booty and this one did not even play for us. However it is time to have fun dustng off the Irish. Please get in touch if anyone wants to play golf on the 2nd or possibly the morning of the 3rd of January. Go Tigers!!! Cheers Tiger

This Tiger thinks the yankee states will win both matches for courses. Florida being a southern state contrary to reality.

Tiger,
I don't think the odds on me ending up in NO for the game are very good, and the chances of me ending up in NO with golf clubs are even less, plus of course I'll be rooting for the wrong team, but if so I'll write you back!

I'll start an Indiana/Louisiana thread once we get down to crunch time if no one else has already! With Victoria National, Wolf Run, and Crooked Stick leading the way I think we have a stronger case in that matchup (on paper) than the football game...but Go Irish anyway!

El Tigre, I was excited about LSU getting to Pasadena, too bad the tradition-bound days are over but what the hell. The Bayou Bengal crowd really knows how to get around in the French Quarter.   Cal didn't look too sharp in the Big Game and better step it up for Texas A&M in the Holiday Bowl.  :P

New Orleans, proud to swim home...........

Mark it will all work out and well we Tigers do go to games in big numbers. I am afraid your life will be tough till the 4th of January. I like the afternoon of the 2nd better myself. The 3rd is game day and time for all good Tigers to really focus on the task at hand which is dusting all things Irish.

Good luck in the Sugar! Sorry your Rose hopes were dashed by USChoke, but some of us rather enjoyed the Karma of that UCLA win. Anyways, I think the Irish will give you more of game than some predict. That 23-20 win of LSU's a couple of weeks ago at home against Ol Miss is encouraging for Irish fans. Also putting up only 3 pts against Auburn and 10 against Florida might cause some concern. If that team shows up then it's ND all the way. Of course if our team that played against Mich or USChoke shows then they better lock up the Bushmills on Bourbon St. I won't get down there except in spirit but hope it's a good time for all.
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.

Tim - easy with the USChoke stuff, or I shall be forced to remind you about a certain game that occurred a week prior.  And we do NOT want to turn this into another thread that will get deleted.

Couldn't resist rattling your cage a little bit, Huck! ::) And I do wish the boys from Troy good luck in the Rose, if just to shut up the Big 11 fans who wanted a rematch, although a Mich win might quicken the death of the BCS and bring about a playoff maybe by 2010.

Don't start with the Trojan choke stuff.  I think the Trojan record holds up well with any school in the country.  A great, great season considering the personnel losses and what 4 seniors starting.
