Baby Boy.
« on: November 06, 2006, 09:19:34 AM »
Hello All,

I haven't posted in a while, as we had our first child.

Olan Albert Collins was born on October 17th at 7:31.

Now I know what 'miracle' means.

Olan (also spelled Olin) is Scandinavian. It means "of the ancestors". The height of it's popularity (although it was never really a common name) was at around 1900.

Albert was Meghan's Grandfather's name (the reference to the great blues guitar man, Albert Collins is just a happy accident.)

Adam,

Congratulations, and we're looking forward to Olan becoming a prodigy GCA'er around 2015 under your tutelage.  ;D

Health, happiness, and long life to everyone in the the Collins crew!
