The Orchards-Ross

I seem to remember reading that The Orchards was going to be opened up to limited public play sometime in the future. Is that still the case? I think it's still listed as a private course. Or has the course just always operated as a semi-private? I know Palmer management has taken over.

Just looked at their website - looks like a private club to me...

David, The Orchards is a private club and there are no plans to open it up to public play.  In fact, the club is doing quite well, especially since the Women's U.S. Open gave it a higher profile in 2004.  Palmer Management has been there for many years, there is nothing new there.

Thanks for clearing that up Dan T. My mistake. I must have misread whatever it was that I read.
