Play the West - What a bargain!
« on: September 24, 2006, 11:39:05 PM »
We'll be heading out on Wednesday for a little four-day golf outing to western Nebraska, home of some of the finest daily fee courses around.  We start our trip at the Proctor/Axland course in Ogallala (Bayside) on Wednesday, then do a double on Thursday at Wild Horse, followed by a round at Meadowlark Hills in Kearney.  Friday, we travel to Cambridge to play Cross Creek, finishing up on Saturday in McCook.

If any of you have had the opportunity to play these fine courses, you'll know what a deal it is - the cost for all five rounds, including three nights hotel, is only $272.50 per person.

Hope the HOOK is under control by then!

Paul,

Been there many times.  In fact, this is our 4th Annual "corn holer" as the tournament is now called!  We have 24 guys who head out in four motor homes and travel from place to place.

As I mentioned, each of the courses is very good, and to be able to package the deal together and play all of them is quite a treat!

I haven't played Wild Horse yet when the wind wasn't blowing 30+ mph.
