I thought that would be easy....

Now dammit I used to be good at these... and of course I could look them up... but here goes sans internet search help

Little Brown Jug - Minnesota/Michigan
Paul Bunyon's axe - Minnesota/Wisconsin

The Big 10 does have the market cornered on cool trophies!

Tom,

Well done.  The Big 10 does have some interesting trophies (I love it when the winner of Minn-Wisky runs around waving the axe).  But, we don't have the War Eagle--now, that's cool.  Sorry Tiger.

Auburn is the only school I know who go by three different names. The Tigers, War Eagles, and Plainsmen. The Iron Bowl is intense! So is Georgia v Florida. Tennessee v Alabama used to be, till the SEC split.

But for a downright rivalry of tradition, intensity, and laughs, you must be a part of Grambling v Southern. Do you dare? The only regular contests where I have seen more intensity by the people involved is Duke v NC basketball, and Germany v Russia warfare!
