Quail Run (OR) Expands

Quail Run, about 10 miles south of Sunriver at Lapine on US97, became an 18 hole course when its new nine holes by Ken Ramey opened this past weekend. It plays as a par 72, and 6900 yards. Green fee is $55 w/o cart. It has been 15-20 years since I played the original nine, and I had fun in a low key atmosphere.

What a great nine holes they have there, it's good to hear they finally got approval to build the other nine, Jim Ramey, the designer, is also the superintendent at Crosswater, I had the pleasure of working with him at Crosswater and I really hope he gets the chance to do another course, the guy has an enthusiam for golf and design that is so refreshing.
