Jim:

That is just Ran's supposition on the subject, and we all would assume that.  For all we know, he was there all the time.  But as far as true concrete evidence (i.e. drawings, newspaper articles referencing him just once, a quote from him about SPCC), there is nothing.

In writing my book, I have been through everything in this county and have found nothing.  One thing Ran thought was that SPCC was the only Sandhills project Ross was associated with that the Tufts family wasn't and so maybe it was intentional that he kept his name out of any references to SPCC as it was a major conflict of interest.

That certainly makes sense.  By the way, still looking for someone.  Jeff?

I wonder.  Are my job offer requirements too stringent or is it true that interest in the profession is dead?  Or is it that those qualified don't ever lurk here?

I wonder.  I am willing to consider one with a few years experience and not just an entry-level candidate.
Rich,
I do think there were a couple of the LAR guys from UGA lurking here that said they were interested.  I saw them going in the Midnight Iguana Tattoo parlor about 2pm Sat night as I was driving home.  Said they had been studying McDonald Restoration work.  Loved NGLA but thought he did much better work with the flower beds around the golden arches as he got into hamburgers.  I think Weinburg had been advising them.  Gie them a call. I think they could help.

Hey Mike,

As long as the tatoos aren't visible during the hours of 8-5, I'm in.  Can't have one of those trademark iguanas coming up out of the shirt and around the neck.  How about a full Biarritz green on the back, though?

I'm more concerned about Weinberg.
