Golf Living Roundtable: Doak, Phillips, Engh and Kidd
« on: May 14, 2006, 08:48:46 PM »
I picked up a new magazine yesterday, Golf Living, and on the cover is a picture of Tom Doak, Jim Engh, Kyle Phillips and David McLay Kidd and inside is a roundtable discussion with some very interesting comments from all 4.

If anyone can post this article in the April-June issue, I'm sure all would enjoy.
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Very interesting!!! I too would love to read and hear what all have to say in the article.  There should be some nice conversation and topics to discuss!

I too, enjoyed the Q&A roundtable in Golf Living magazine. Four standout architects all sharing candid thoughts on course design, with the top portion of each page displaying images of their accomplished work.

Hats off to photographer Mark Berndt for the spectacular quartet cover shot of Phillips, Kidd, Doak and Engh. It isn't easy trying to capture a photo of four busy guys (all with smiles) and each of them in such a natural pose. What a great cover shot, and certainly worth framing.

Cary:

Interesting indeed !!!

When I read about the fav five on the PGA Tour (Tiger, Ernie, Phil, Vijay and Retief) I can see the tremendous talent that each of these four gentlemen can provide. I always look forward to seeing what they bring forward and their success will indeed raise the bar for all their work and those of others wishing to contend for such distinctions.
