I will be at Royal North Devon from April 20-23.  If you can dare play with an old Norwegian Preacher for Annapolis MD let me know.  I was thinking of going down to St. Enodoc and Trevose one day as well.

Tommy,

No, no, no - don't play Trevose. Drive the extra half hour and play Perranporth. See attached thread:

I'd love to join you but family commitments prevent me from doing so I'm afraid.

Tommy -

DEFINITELY play St. Endoc! Trevose is far less compelling. I have not played Perranporth. There is also a links course in Bude (Bude & North Cornwall) that interests me, but I have not played there either.

Has anyone played Bude & North Cornwall (www.budegolf.co.uk)? Any comments?

St Enodoc is one of the best golf courses in England. IMHO. It should not be missed on any tour of SW England. I think it should be played twice in fact.

Perranporth should replace Trevose and definitely not St.Enodoc which is just about my favourite course.

I've not played Bude but I've senn a few holes as it's in the middle of town. Looks fun but not in the same league as the others.

You could also try Saunton which is only a few miles from RND and has two superb links. However St.Enodoc and Perranporth would be more fun.

And don't forget West Cornwall - terrific links of individual character.
