How about a shot of the 17th at Ghost Creek?
It's a great drivebale Par 4.
Lots of risk--and for the successful--plenty of rewards.

Mike, those bunkers at the Fought Reserve South course are kinda boring overkill.

Bill, Early June is Rose Festival time, a local notoriously rainy 2 week period...than again, it could be great...It's Portland, you never know!  C-E is my favorite of the local clubs that I get to play every once in a while...Hopefully I can get together with you when you are in Stumptown.

Craig, We played some "tundra golf" this morning...Very cold, but fast/firm conditions...good practice for our trip to Bandon in 2 weeks...it's been sunny and windy for the last 2 weeks...the ground has dried up from the biblical rain we had in January...I would expect Heron Lakes and Eastmoreland to be in fairly dry shape even if the weather is above freezing.

Jim, I have a real jones to play some golf!  We were headed toward an early open at my course here in Montana, but the recent weather has been brutally cold.

I'm seriously thinking about heading out your way for 2 or 3 days of golf in the next week or two, especially if we don't get anymore snow in the mountains. (I snowboard)
