Which course is this? 9
« on: January 23, 2006, 10:04:34 AM »
Well, if TOC is too easy for you, here's one from the ladies' tees.  It's a well-known American course with a somewhat geometrical address.  From the back men's tees it is well over 7,000 yards.  Again the holes are named: the 4th shares its name with another American course, the 9th would make small children giggle

3. 333 4
4. 398 5
5. 120 3
6. 362 4
7. 356 4
8. 174/142 3
9. 396 5

It's been a one-time host to the US PGA Championship.

If I tell you that the holes are named Apache, Pueblo, Navajo, Seminole, Mohawk, Commanche, Shawnee, Sitting Bull, Kickapoo, Cherokee, Kiowea, Saginaw, Blackfoot, Iroquois, Lenape, Sioux, Seneca, and the last hole is the name of the club, does that help?
