George - thanks for bumping this as I've been on vacation last week and would have missed it.
Donny- I could tell the old photos because Pioppi's perfect sod laying work after they were taken was not evident in the pictures
Everyone should know that Tony is amazing at putting down sod and should probably be given design credit for his efforts
His work at the Old Course during the open probably was responsible for the success of the event too.
