Check out the Seminole Golf Club art deco oil based sign that hung outside the entrance on U.S. 1. It's on ebay for 40 k.

Hmmmmmmm, I don't know if I would bid $40,001 on something from a seller with zero feedback!

And it looks like it is no more 30 inches square ... perhaps it is the sign for FSU's Seminole course in Tallahassee ;)

Hahaha, $40,000.00, are you kidding me.  I hope they accidentally put an extra zero in there.  I think they made a mistake and put the MAX bid in for the reserve!!! hahahaha ;D

Anyway, I'm not sure I would think about buying it either from a seller with no feedback. UNBELIEVEABLE

You could get that sign, or comission Mike Miller to make you four original paintings of Seminole....

That's pretty funny, assuming some kid stole it years ago.
They will definately get caught if it's real.
Thinking of Bob, Rihc, Bill, George, Neil, Dr. Childs, & Tiger.

I got an old Seminole towel that is real faded. Looks like an antique. I'll let it go for $4001, only 10% of the sign cost.
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

I've heard of Seminole. What's that worth?

Somehow the quote from W.C. Fields seems most appropriate ... ;D

Well I am happy to see that nobody dropped the 40 G's to get the Seminole Golf Club sign.  Maybe they will remove a zero and get at least one bid this time.  It would be a nice conversation piece, or a great gift for any golfer who has an interest in classic architecture or Donald Ross.
