Really interesting, especially his comments about moaning Monty, and the predictability and one dimensionality of tour courses.

We think far too much of these guys...

A fascinating interview, he is clearly a man of wisdom. Can we make him an honouree member of GCA?

I really enjoyed that.  Interesting observations and good to hear that he thinks Cape Kidnappers is number 1 in NZ.
Bunkers, if they be good bunkers, and bunkers of strong character, refuse to be disregarded, and insist on asserting themselves; they do not mind being avoided, but they decline to be ignored - John Low Concerning Golf

Huggan is a lurker here.
He stayed with me last week in Melbourne  and took in a game at Barnbougle on Monday- terrific bloke and a great writer.

I played quite a bit of amateur golf with John when still back home, he was always full of wit and subtle wisdom, two factors his writings now carry.
He is one of the best writers our game currently has, primarily because that is what he is a golfer...

Pity they didn't touch on some of his views re - technology !

But I think we can safely testify that John Huggan does - "get it !"
