Matt,
Thanks for digging up the data. Did they have GIR data?
"Perimeter-weighted fairways", The best euphemism for containment mounding I've ever heard.

Ed:

The short answer is no -- I can find out through a few sources of mine at the PGA HQ in Florida.

Ed -- keep this in mind -- the 7th hole for the tournament -- which is the 7th hole on the East -- plays about 470 yards and the stroke average was close to 4.7 per round. The hole is vastly underrated by many in the greater NY metro area. A superb driving hole followed by an approach to a green that is well done by Tillie.

Pat:

Bear in mind -- all par-4's played over par for the '01 PGA Sr event. The hole was still the 13th easiest for all of the holes used and was barely above par for the entire event.

Matt,

At 291 yards or so, being played over par for four days, by the best golfers in the world, 50 and over, says all you need to know about the 6th hole on the Center nine at Ridgewood.
