Seeking George Thomas photos
« on: December 22, 2004, 03:41:21 PM »
Can anyone point me to photos (on the internet) relating to George Thomas "The Captain", including his courses or anything else he did?

Would some one please tell me how I get rid of that Stupid "I'm a llama" quote in the margin? Lord, I hate that thing.

Steve;

Seriously, if you click on your "profile" bar above it will take you to a screen where you can edit your "personal text".

You're now officially on the hook to come up with something creative.  ;)

There are course profiles on this site for Riviera and LACC North Course.

Geoff Shackelford might have more - after all, he wrote the book on Thomas - literally. :)

Here are a few Riviera pics.....  (All shot from the clubhouse area which is elevated at least 40 feet above the holes photographed.  Some are even further than 40 feet.)

Jeff, thanks for the photos.

I have Geoff's book "The Captain"; In fact, I'm looking for photos of Thomas courses to help prepare a presentation I'm doing on the book.

Any help will be appreciated if not remunerated.
