Here it is: Carlyle's Eagle Ass Shot



The always daper native Georgian smoothed a 6 iron for a deuce on the 15th hole last Sunday. How they chose Caviezel as Bobby Jones over Carlyle I'll never know?

I have no idea how Carlyle could hole a 6 iron - it was tough to make 4' putts in the two locations that pin was cut on both Saturday and Sunday! Particularly Saturday!  :o

I think I went 9-2-3-9 during that stretch.  :o

A little known fact: Bobby Jones was actually 6'5" like me.  Television adds ten pounds, while black-and-white photos take off about a foot.  That's why most photos are in color now.

So, we had 2 eagles on the weekend both coming on par 4s with Carlyle and Luigi Duran.  Not bad for a smallish group of only 45+-.  Congrats guys.  

Carlyle, did you really also make a couple of 9s?  Gee, you don't know how much better that makes me feel about my own bit of ugliness making 9s.  I thought I was the only one... ;) ;D ::)

Sorry,

The 9's lost to a 6 and a 4; since we were waiting on every tee anyway we let Carlyle "hit 'till he was happy". As you can see it all averaged out in the end.
