What new golf courses are going to make the mark in Europe in the coming years,
The Carrick at Loch Lomond sounds very interesting.
What can we expect from Kidd's work at St Andrews, having recently visited Queenwood it could be very exciting.
What else?
The Nicklaus course also at Loch Lomond?
anymore!

Jonny,
When you talk of some of those new courses, and I think of the other Heaths, Moors and Links yet to be discovered by many of us over here is the US, I shudder to think of any course being called "The Carrick at Loch Lomond" or "The Nicklaus Course at Loch Lomond."

Give me pictures of Beau Desert or Northwood or Sandy Lodge, etc.  This is what we need to celebrate! Not some Nicklaus course that looks as if it has transplanted from America.

Although perhaps still in the planning or "hope to do" stage it looks like the some Americans maybe coming to Europe, including three of this site's favorites---Doak, Coore & Crenshaw and Hanse.

It looks to me that the Americans have made they mark already with:
Kingsbarn
Dundonald
The Grove
They keep coming over and pinching the really good sites!
