The Consensus/Groupthink threads reminded me that I did this exercise back when Covid had shut down golf…and the world. It solely was for fun, but I thought it might be relevant for the other threads.

It would be fun to do a formalized GCA World Top 100/200/300 with regional lists at some point. There's a lot of unique perspectives in here, and I think it would be as easy as setting up a Google sheets and having everyone fill in their information (which I assume is what happened here, without investigating too much). We could put it into an article and do it every two years, but I know Ran is Top 100'd out and we're not exactly trying to add to the top 100 discourse in the immediate future. Still, something to explore! Love seeing this throwback, I think that was my first year on GCA after I played Scarboro with Wayne Kozun.

Hopefully anyone who has ever submitted a ballot to a rating organization is not eligible. How else can we escape the groupthink acusations?
