Hello, all.
On New Year's Eve eve, I'd like to call your attention to the Walter J. Travis Society. The Society is closing in on thirty years of existence, and boasts a loaded website (www.travissociety.com) a book project (The Old Man, by Bob Labbance), a college scholarship program, and an intriguing collection of individual and club members. It is active on social media, specifically Facebook and Instagram.
The Society routinely holds 2-3, in-person events per year, alongside another pair of virtual Google Meets, with individuals germane to the mission of the WJTS.
Membership is not a heavy financial lift, and is open to all enthusiasts of golf course architecture and Walter J. Travis. The registration link is found here: https://form.jotform.com/242246439962161
Take care, thank you for your attention, and the happiest of 2025 to all of you.
