Post by: Pete_Pittock on March 16, 2021, 01:28:14 PM
I wonder how many golf courses got them second hand.  Is this an outlier or more common?
If you asked for certain seeds and others were delivered could problems develop?

This is not the norm thankfully.  And yes, grass cultivars vary widely on their characteristics. There’s a reason why NTEP (National Turfgrass evaluation program) was developed....To avoid these types of issues with unbiased data analysis.

The new short course at Barnbougle Lost Farm (named Bougle Run) has had its opening delayed because the seed mix of red fescue and creeping fescue ended up containing tall fescue as well.
