Title: Another 2018 Magical Mystery Tour (Holes 1-4 Posted)
Post by: Ronald Montesano on November 25, 2018, 01:28:19 PM
Another golf course visited this past year, and what a freaking surprise. All of the enjoyable elements of golf course architecture. No hints, no clues just yet. Email me at buffalogolfer AT gmail.com or inbox me here if you have a guess. The first hole is a wiggling par four, slightly uphill and then mightily uphill to the putting surface.

I've uploaded images of a different sizing, and forget the HTML tag to shrink/expand them. If any of you wizards can post it below, or inbox it my way, it will be appreciated...RM

Holes 2-4 are an interesting collection (sorry for the delay...images were in RAW mode and I needed some updates before proceeding.) 2 is a dogleg right par four, to an elevated green with one bunker for additional protection. 3 is the first par-five hole on the course, the beneficiary of some terrific, angled, fairway bunkering at two junctures. Four is an odd little hole, a 90-degree dogleg right whose tee shot is as unphotogenic as they come (and the reason why there is no photo below) but whose approach and green area are quite attractive. It borders the tennis complex, and is somewhat wedged in, so all in all, it's more a hit than a miss.

Someday someone is going to clean that course up with a chainsaw.

My hole two sequence is a mess. Working on it now.

There is a great deal of width, despite the appearance of arboreal interference.

OK. I believe that hole #2 is now repaired...RM
