Title: Tillinghast in the 1911 Public Ledger
Post by: Joe Bausch on September 10, 2013, 08:54:55 AM
Tilly wrote on golf most every Sunday for a number of months in 1911 for the newspaper Public Ledger here in Philly.  I've scanned all these articles (my school happens to have the entire run of the Public Ledger on microfilm) and made them available in a fairly readable form here:

Terrific, Joe. What a terrific contribution to our knowledge and understanding of Tilly.   I'm searching the articles for Tilly's references to Travis.  Have often wondered about their relationship.  Have not got far into the collection and already have found some very interesting Tilly reports of Travis, as an amateur golfer.
