Title: Seattle GCA Soiree
Post by: Mike Hendren on August 02, 2010, 06:04:20 PM
Once again I'll be at UDUB the week of August 30th and would welcome the opportunity to gather at The Ram in University Village one evening for a little fellowship.  Paging Choi, Leary et al for the evening of August 31st or September 1st.  All are welcome.

 Mike,

At this time I am not sure if I will be around but I would put me down as 80% likely to be there.  Look forward to meeting you.

So I never expected to find myself in Seattle, certainly not this month. but.... my brother just qualified for the US Am today and I'm  most likely going to be caddying for him!  haven't booked my flight out there yet but will likely have a day or two to play with while i'm out there.  would love to at least meet up with some gca'ers for drinks or dinner one night while i'm out there.  who will be at the Amateur? and who's around for golf during that week?

any suggestions on good places to stay out there?  usga gave us some suggested hotels, etc, but i figure i'd ask the locals first.

I will be there as a rules official and there are social engagements that go with that.  I am interested of free.

I am hoping to be there but am currently scheduled to be in court on Friday and if that is going ahead, I will have to pass. I hope to know by the end of today or the morning, ie. Thursday morning, if I am free. It is looking like the matter will be adjourned and I will be able to sneak down there.
