Dont miss the pictures and article in Golfweek.In my view Gullane Hill is not what you would want in the middle of a course.It is bulky and broad shouldered as hills go.However,in reality it gives great views and playing interest with very little notice on course one that you are climbing.I think it is a study in routing.Yet,most seem to put it down their lists.

The 2d hole on Gullane No. 1 is one of the truly great holes in all of Christendom.

Gullane is one of my favorite places in all of golfdum. The views of the golf world around it including Muirfield take your breath away and make for a great setting to enjoy a pint.
