On the subject of fallaway greens I should probably insert in here Riviera's #10 green. It does fallaway but only in degrees relating to the various optional fairway angle one chooses off the tee!

The other really cool fallaway green is PVGC's #12. It falls straight away, particularly in back to the approach of the longer and more aggressive golfer, but it's fallaway run from that angle is long. On the other hand, for the more conservative and shorter tee shot it's very shallow but falls away more gradually SIDEWAYS!

In my opinion, you can't create much more optional interest and meaning (strategy) than that. I don't know that much about RTJ but he said in print this hole was the only really weak one at PVGC. For that I'm never going to have the respect I would've had for RTJ if he'd at least kept his mouth shut about that hole!
