Hillside (1911 One of the famous Southport clubs, sandwiched between Birkdale and S&A. The back nine [Hawtree] ventures into some giant dunes. I like it, but others on GCA are lukewarm.)

L12 9HQ

Wirral Ladies (1894 A charming little course with tiny greens, making it a great test of the short game. Quite a lot of heather [visible on Google Earth]. Beautifully conditioned. Very friendly members and staff.)
CH43 6TS
Woolton (1901 a shortish course, but remarkably rural given its proximity to both Liverpool and its airport)
