Shooting my PB 85 at Equinox up in Manchester Village, Vermont.

My rookie appearance at the Dixie Cup.  AND MEETING A FELLOW GAUCHO!

Playing in 6 new states (trying to get to all of them) and 21 new courses.

It certainly was a highlight meeting you, Bill!  Glad we were able to swap a few UCSB stories.

Started the year with a rusty round at the incredible Stone Eagle. Never really recovered.  Tried many things including "take two weeks off, then quit altogether."  Probably reached the low point of my playing slump showing Mr. Doak around what passes for golf locally.  We saw 36 holes and played most of them between thunder storms, eating, a beer, and chatting about golf courses.  Sorry Tom, still a highlight for me.  My one regret is that I promised myself during his quick tour that I wouldn't pester him about what he thought about what he was seeing.  That was a sound decision, so he could just play,  however I should have said "so what did you think?" after the rounds.  Now I'll have to wait a year to find out.  Damn, what a moron I am.
