Have only been once in 2004 and I was a client/guest of a vendor.

Arrived on the grounds Saturday am around 9 or 10 when the first groups were teeing off #1.
My host guided us to the back 9 first where we walked barefoot down some fairways as there were no players and almost zero patrons in sight.

It was an geat way to see the famous holes without the crowds and was one of my favorite moments of the day.

Why barefoot?

It was kinda surreal actually.
Had flip flops on anyway on a gorgeaous spring day.

Walked down 10th hole and, upon seeing no one around of note, we kicked off the flippies and just enjoyed the grass on our feet.
Not sure if that can be done today, but it was a memorable experince for sure.

I think the Masters is the best sporting event to attend, bar none. They truly appreciate their “Patrons.”
Not true if your "badge/entry ticket" is not front and center on your chest-at all times.

I like the corner where #1 green, #2 tee, #8 green, and #9 tee all come together. Fun bounces and short game shots on #8 and wild putts and recovery shots on #1 (what a green!).

Go early. Stay late. See it all. Going in, you know it's a day you'll always remember.

Have to say I can't believe what a well run event the Masters is. I've never seen anything like it. Ended up sitting on the 4th tee box yesterday 20 feet from the players. Also had a perfect view of the 3rd green, Great fun watching the players attempt to get up and down from over that green. After all the groups went thru took our chairs to 15 about even with the  middle of pond on the right and then went to the bleachers on 12. After Rory played 12 we went back to 15. Won't bore you with more details but basically did the same on Sat. Walked the course with my son in law on Sat and my son on Sunday before anyone teed off. The walk up 8 is incredible. I can see why Tiger would have trouble.

Thanks again to everyone for giving me some tips and ideas.
