I'd guess that many posters play both a bunch of courses near home many times AND explore hundreds of courses that they've played only once or twice.

I'd guess that many posters play both a bunch of courses near home many times AND explore hundreds of courses that they've played only once or twice.

That's my story in a nutshell.   I've played 1309 courses, most of them once.   I've moved a few times where I establsih a local rota of public courses and probably most relevant never joined a private club so didn't feel compelled to make those personal economics work.   


Most important of all, I never tire of the excitement of playing a new course, great or small.
