The Olympic Club is kind of like those Discovery Land projects, where the discussion is about the soup at the halfway house, instead of about the golf holes.

Isn't "Discovery Land" a zone at Walt Disney Theme Parks, or am I mistaken?  ;)

Yep, that is really sad!  I want them to talk about my golf course and not about the food at the halfway house!!

This is low effort clickbait. You can get the Burger Dog at Golden Gate Par 3.

Love the Burger Dog - it's as good as advertised!

I played the renovated Lake course in October and rather enjoyed it. The tree work, green expansions, and and bunker work has done wonders. The course sits essentially on a massive dune between a lake and the ocean...it feels much more natural and in tune with it's location on a wonderful natural site but also in city limits of SF. Of course the club could do a little more tree work, etc. but it's always going to be a big championship course.

Looking forward to seeing what Urbina does with the Ocean course. Hopefully the club lets him go nuts with trees and leaning into the Ocean/Dune vibe of the old William Watson course on the same site.

Pat- I played there 2 weeks ago and thought the transformation was really impressive. It was firm and the turf quality was excellent. Some really good vistas thru the property now. Bunkers are vastly improved
