Golf tour merger coming soon

<< < (2/10) > >>

Rob Marshall:
I heard the recent LIV event had 12,000 viewers. Why settle? The majors can invite whoever they want. Eventually the Saudi's will realize they are just wasting money. I also wonder why the DOJ would even be involved. The PGA tour never had competition.

Jim_Coleman:
I give Tiger’s comments little credibility. The powers that be have been saying it since that CNBC debacle. I’ll believe it when it’s done.

Bruce Katona:
LIV & The Tour have the attention of POTUS. Correct or incorrect the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in DC is a "Ready, Fire, Aim guy", who looks to accomplish tasks on his radar screen and move along to his next agenda item.

Personally, if this is what it takes to get the deal done and golf back on track, so be it.  There will be a Quid pro quo for this deal, like hosting a major at a Trump property, but with all the money involved, noses, will be held, hands shaken and a deal done.

Personally, I can't wait for POTUS to focus on The NYC MTA & Congestion Pricing. I do hope POTUS sends in DOGE to audit the MTA's books.  A DOGE audit of the MTA may make US military spending appear to be cost/budget consious in comparison.

Sam Morrow:
I love the game of golf, I'm looking forward to everyone being back together and seeing all the best competing against each other. If you're a golf fan I'm not sure why you'd want anything else.

Tommy Williamsen:
MLB lost me in '94, and pro golf is losing me now. I will watch the Majors, but probably nothing else.
