Golf tour merger coming soon

(1/10) > >>

Michael Morandi:
In case you missed it, Tiger just said on the Genesis broadcast that a merger with Liv is coming soon, that tour golf has been on the wrong trajectory for some time and that the public wants to see the best players compete together. He said healing is occurring. He missed the meeting with Trump, Monahan and Scott but thought they did a good job. I guess this means that the DOJ will look the other way on antitrust matters.

I didn't miss it.

That said, what are your personal thoughts on what Tiger said?  Do you have an opinion?

It will be coming soon, if for no other reason than the size of the egos in play and their desire to proclaim a "W," along with the $$$ on BOTH sides doing the talking. I doubt any win will be designed for, nor considerably favorable to the fans, as they are consistently being measured as the "suckers" by both the C-suite'rs as well as most of the touring professionals.

No doubt the table setting had to be reset and the sharp objects removed from the toddlers reach, along with making the DoJ  compliant. Then again, the latter apparently has no problem reflecting such posture anywhere it suits a political purpose, or the wishes of higher powers.

The only thing left for us roiled masses to do is start a juicy rumor is the possibility probability of Jay Monahan next running for Mayor of New York City!......with prejudice of course. ;)

Getting long popcorn futures.

I wonder back and ask: Is the Sport Washing machine still on?...which cycle...or are the clothes done yet?  Being put in the dryer, now? Soon to be folded and returned to the drawer? That's some expensive laundress...

What a sick hedgefund joke; like busting out Craftsman and Kenmore before busting out Sears itself.

Good for everybody that think$ its good... it's been like the LIV guys don't even exist; I can't watch 10 minutes of their quarterly get togethers

Chris Hughes:
NBA is next...
