OT—NZ and AUS Restaurants

We are leaving Monday for a long planned and awaited trip, but we have given little thought to restaurants. We will be in:


Te Arai
Auckland
Napier
Wellington
Queenstown
Sydney
Flinders
Melbourne


Restaurant suggestions most welcome. We are not looking for fine dining, just good local fare.

The good news is the South Pacific Peso aka the Australian dollar is at recent lows against the USD so whilst things are expensive here, it may not be as bad for tourists.


I can probably help with Sydney, it's a pain to get around the place, do you know where you are staying?


One thing I would recommend is take the Manly Ferry from Circular Quay, go to the beach and if you wanted to eat/drink with locals, go to the [size=78%]Restaurant Manly - Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club[/size]
