How about this as a design tool to let folks know what to do with the rakes:
Green signals what should be in the grass and beige signals what should be in the sand. It seems like a good way to communicate with the players what they should be doing with the rake, without having to explain it to them.

This is innovative lateral thinking (no surprise given your creativity), but I'd suggest that given the age of a majority of golfers (& associated eyesight decline) they may never find these well-camouflaged rakes making them superfluous! Our even worse trip over them...
(Also given the global pandemic of incandescent "sands" the yellow sections on the handle ought to be white.)
