First Impressions From Cabot Highlands (Old Petty) Up Now

(1/1)

Andrew Harvie:
Early Thoughts From a Too-Early Visit to Cabot Highlands (Old Petty)

One of my favourite series' to write is "Early Thoughts From a Too-Early Visit," which is a review/preview of a golf course yet to open. Sometimes, the golf course is rough shaped (Whitman/Axland/Cutten's Thornburgh) and only in the dirt, others the golf course might have opened for preview play or a preview event (Jay Blasi's Golden Gate Par 3). Either way, it's meant as a preview of sorts.

I was in Scotland just over a month ago, and made sure to see two new builds: Trump International's MacLeod course (article coming soon), and Tom Doak's Old Petty. Take a perusal through the layout via the link above.

Andrew,

Thanks for posting. Definitely a course I’d like to see.

Looking forward to hearing and seeing more.
