Feature Interview with Andrew Harvie - Golf Club Atlas

As GolfClubAtlas turns 25 years old, Ben Cowan-Dewar, Joe Andriole and I realized that we needed fresh blood to modernize GolfClubAtlas and to drive new content. To that end, GolfClubAtlas.com has merged with the Canadian site Beyond the Contour, which was founded by Andrew Harvie in 2021. Andrew, age 26, is one year older than the web site and I first contacted him almost a year ago.

After numerous conversations, I became convinced that he was the right person to partner with on a go-forward basis. This month’s Feature Interview serves to introduce him and to talk about some of the changes coming to GolfClubAtlas in the near term. I am keeping this intro brief as crowing about all the future exciting things that will be happening is a sure way to jinx things. Nonetheless, I have every reason to believe that the content that GCA produces in the next 25 years will be even better/more influential than the first 25 years. Only time will tell but, in the meanwhile, please welcome Andrew on board.

Best,

Some of us Old & Crusty’s are seriously going to have to up our games.

Surely that's not an issue for a hipster like you (see what I did there  ;D )

All well and good. And flattered to be quoted in the interview. But I read this as Ran stepping way back (he has earned it). I can read course reviews pretty much anywhere. Even as a relatively new poster, it is the DG that makes this place special. What are the plans for it?

Thanks.
