Part of the plan to attract tour events is an addition of some 800 yards, stretching it past 7,400 and, more curiously, the expansion of existing lakes on the property (which strikes me as an awkward decision in any municipal setting...and I've got to believe that, having been bought by the county, it will need to serve as a municipal during non-tournament times). That said, expanding fairway corridors (as planned) will hopefully decrease the time of the average round to some degree...
