In other words:
Viktor Hovland has signed up to play in the Travelers Championship at the end of June.This year the Travelers Championship is a PGA Tour Signature Event with a purse of $20,000,000. It had been rumored that Viktor is a target for LIV, something Viktor has played down recenlty. Hovland's signing up for the Travelers does not confirm his long term interest in the PGA Tour, nor deny his potential to join LIV. So in many ways his signing up is not significant either way.

There is nothing about the 54 Hole tour that appeals to me.  The addition of Viktor Hovland won't change that.  One look at the Fed Ex standings tells me where the action is.

I'd agree in concept with Craig,

No doubt LIV has taken a bite out of the PGATour product, its undeniable.  But in terms of a ranked interest level for each type, I'm currently at (and i'm guessing TV ratings fall in line similarly) :

1)  Majors 
2)  PGA Tour
3)  One off events like US Amateur
4)  Champions Tour
5)  LPGA Tour
6)  Korn Ferry

.
7)  LIV
