Did anyone see the bunker shot Xander Schauffele hit today after short-siding himself in the bunker right of #16 green? That was impressive.

Yes, but I'm not sure it was better than his bunker shot from behind 12. They were both amazing.

I also thought the one at 12 was better.

I did not see XS play #12. I wish I had.

You can watch all the shots on the app. His bunker shot on the 12th was wildly impressive.

The one Morikowa just hit on four was pretty tasty.

The fairway bunker shot Scheffler hit on #3 was more impressive than any of the above (second round I think).

I had all of 20 feet from the back bunker to the hole at Sand valley’s 18th.  I hit a dropped cat shot that crept to 6 inches.  The entire  crowd on the patio (actually a husband and wife) erupted in applause. Fwiw.

James R. - Thanks for letting me know about that.

Jeff E. & Mark K. - Just watched XS's bunker shot on #12 yesterday. Yes, very impressive as well, especially off such a downhill lie.

These guys are very good.
