New Links in Ireland? Curracloe nr Wexford.

Fry Straka are the architects. Projected opening 2026.

Bearing in mind the developers are a Hotel group who's other property is Druid's Glenn and that the Archtitects are well known to US Golfers,  I'm thinking this is another high end course.

I thought 'proper' links land was untouchable these days? It looks narrow in that video but appearances can be decieving.

Little real detail, anyone know more?

Pretty much everything that's considered "dunes" was marked as off limits by the E.U.  It's very unlikely they got that reversed, so this site must not have been considered sensitive when the maps were drawn.

If the course will be built around the hotel, it looks like it will a few hundred yards in from the links land:

I had not heard of this project, but it seems to have been cooking for many years. Here's an article from last year:

I think this link shows the boundary for the development which might include the course as well:

Dana first told me about this last year. He and Jason (it is a Jason-led project) are both very excited about it. It's in sand, but not in the dunes themselves. A bit like Dumbarnie in that respect, I think.

Not links land.

Nevertheless, a good site.
