Sandwood Beach is pretty near Durness if you’re up that way.

That's very sad.  Alnmouth Village is a wonderful place and represents so much that is good in golf.  Small club, low maintenance, links, cheap, fun but challenging 9 holer. 
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

It sounds like the damage was out on 4 & 5. Some wonderful terrain there. Shame.
