I've booked a 4-ball at Silloth on Thursday 28th December at 10.30am. The weather forecast looks good.

Anyone fancy a festive knock? £30 green fee.

That would have been extrem welcome, but we’re having a couple of days in Embra with the German chums.

As you know, always up for a game at Silloth although have to say the weather doesn't look too promising from what I can see.

I had the pleasure of playing there this summer albeit in a 30 mph wind.

Even with the wind it was quite enjoyable. What’s the weather typically like in that part of England in December?
