Some earthmoving at Presidio
« on: November 20, 2023, 06:23:34 PM »

Saw this happening on my bike ride today. Was able to ask one of the guys in a hardhat  what they were doing and he said they were doing work that was drainage related to the park and not the golf course. Just thought I would share.

Not related to the course, sadly

Matt,

I forget exactly what David Tepper and I were told by our playing partner last month when we inquired about the construction, but it wasn't specific to golf.   I know I said "sadly" when I responded quickly last evening but there isn't too much about the course that needs fixing, with the exception of some targeted tree management.

Matt & Mike -

One area of the course that does need some work is the drainage of the bowl/hollow 60-80 yards short of the green on that hole. That area drains very poorly and can easily turn into a sizable "casual water" pond after one or two heavy rainfalls.
