Agree on this, there is nothing very good on the Costa del Sol if you like your golf pure. Most of the land is just too hilly to walk and consequently makes for a course with a number of blah holes and long walks/buggy trecks. The climate is nice for greens but not really for the ground game.
Low 20s most of the winter, shorts, buggy, good company, few beers, nice food, watch the football in the bars on the night, is my kind of Winter.
Beats driving rain and a wet arse for 99%.
